Northstar RIM Tach 8500 Quad Mill Duty Digital Tachometer Simple Type: Tachometer
The ©NorthStar RIM Tach® 8500 Quad has been specifically designed to directly address the needs of paper and steel mills for multiple outputs from a given motor. The traditional approach has been to connect two or more digital tachometers, thus providing the necessary number of feedback signals. This presents the disadvantage of requiring two complete tachometers, two sets of flexible couplings, and generally four bearings. These additions cause the motor length to grow by as much as four feet with the accompanying brackets, compared to less than three inches with the RIM Tach® 8500 Quad digital tachometer from NorthStar.
